Psalm 91
Psalm 91 is one of the oldest psalms in the Bible and was likely written just after the Exodus by Moses. It is a classic example of Hebrew poetry where a powerful idea is stated twice but in slightly different ways. This teaching device is designed by God to make a truth more real or three-dimensional. If you have ever looked into a View-Master, you can’t help but notice that the image in view appears to be three-dimensional. How can this be because the disc is clearly two-dimensional? Early photographers realized that two images of the same thing seen from a slightly different angle produces a 3D effect. God was using this technique centuries before photography was invented. In this three-part series, you will come to see how great the Father’s care is for you even when chaos rules the world around you.
